May 8th, 2007 - SMOKE!!
Smoke has inundated parts of Southwest Florida, especially Sarasota. It was really thick around 11:00 AM, but subsided by afternoon. The smoke was blown in from wildfires in North Florida and Southern Georgia (over 200 miles away).
